The Restu Research Centre for Islamic Arts and Crafts is one of the main pillars of Restu Foundation. The most of the projects undertaken by Foundation this centre is the one that carries detailed researches before starting any project. The centre has three department which are:
Conceptual Designing Department
This depatment is responsible about research and development tasks related to conceptual designing. The department has succesfully carried out different researches for and at different countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Nigeria and more. Such effrot took place for the purpose to preserve such art from being extinct and to bring success to the projects of this department.
Colouring Department
The work of this department is concerned with colouring types of colours to be used. Befor an art piece is coloured, the department conduct through research to determine the colouring concepts and strategy, types of colours to be used and colour combination.
Besides using acrylic colours, the department has invented its own and unique formulas using herbs and plants from around the world. Some of the herbs and plants are used are: star anise, fingerroot, ginger flower, melastoma, butterfly pea, turmeric and gambir.

Souvenir Products: Products produced by Restu Foundation using mutipurpose paper and batik. They are handmade products and are suitable are gifts for students, teachers etc. for example : Note books, Bookmarks, Key chains, Calligraphy pens and Greeting cards.
Craft Department
This department was established in order to introduce a new extension to craft art where new designs based on Mushaf art are implemented. The Craft Department has produced a variety of unique and high quality Islamic craft products.
Products of this depatment include Facsimile art (replica) for ancient Qurans, Islamic Sculptured products and Islamic craft products with Calligraphy and illumination printed or depicted on their surfaces as ceramics, recycled items, plants and rocks.
